Saudi-bound woman allegedly sexually abused by job agent
An immediate investigation has been launched by the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) into the alleged incident where a Sri Lankan woman bound for Saudi Arabia for employment had been allegedly sexually abused by the job agent as reported in certain sections of the media, chairman Amal Senalankadikara said.

Dandugama Water Aerodrome opens
The Dandugama Water Aerodrome, which has been conceptualised and constructed by the Ministry of Economic Development for the purpose of facilitating floatplane and amphibian aircraft operations around the country was commissioned by Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa yesterday.
